About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Corporate Treasury Operations team in Dallas. As a Treasury Controls Associate, you will play a critical role in managing our firm's cash payments and receipts, ensuring the integrity of our processes, and identifying and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of cash payments and receipts, working closely with business units to monitor payment, credit, and sanctions risk.
- Oversight payment controls functions, including sanctions and fraud controls, and liaise with AML compliance teams to resolve payment exception risk.
- Interact with a network of key vendors across cash agent banks and central banks, ensuring accuracy and integrity of our firm's books and records.
- Perform a number of payment control functions, ensuring the integrity of our process, and manage our daily cash payments and receipts for a particular portfolio.
- Effectively identify and protect legitimate customer transactions, and real-time transaction processing that identifies fraud attempts while allowing legitimate attempts to be executed.
- Bachelor's degree with 3-6 years of experience in financial services or operations management.
- Utilize sanction and fraud risk detection systems and internal bank systems to review suspect items and warning reports daily.
- Proven analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Fircosoft or Actimize Vendor applications, and SWIFT/Fedwire/ISO Payment messaging formats.
- Experience working with Compliance teams on OFAC sanctions-related matters.
