As a Trainee Arborist Climber, you will be a vital part of a tree care team, collaborating with Bartlett's skilled arborists and gaining hands-on experience in the scientific care of trees and shrubs across various properties.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Trainee Arborist Climber, your role will include:

Learning through practical training to safely execute all facets of arboriculture, including:

Tree climbing

Pruning techniques

Rigging methods

Cabling and bracing

Tree removals

Proper maintenance and operation of tools (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)

Implementing safety protocols in work zones

Assisting Arborist Climbers and Crew Leaders both on the ground and in the trees

Supporting driving, backing, dumping, and parking operations

Learning and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:
A strong interest in nature, the environment, and outdoor work

Ability to pass a criminal background check

Willingness to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and capability to work within a diverse team

Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf management, or horticulture is advantageous but not mandatory

A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not required
