Meat Associate

We are seeking a skilled Meat Associate to join our team. As a Meat Associate, you will play a critical role in helping customers and assisting in product receiving, inventory, and storage. You will also be responsible for maintaining safety and sanitation standards in all meat product areas.

• Receive and process deliveries, including breaking down loads and rotating cooler stock
• Weigh, price, and label products
• Stock cases and select products for display
• Prepare valued-added products for customers
• Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and food safety
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position
• Ability to use and learn equipment and tools used in the job
• Ability to work in a cold environment

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
• Job cycles: continual maximum
• Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
• Stand: 55%, sit: 0%, walk: 45%
• Category IV: Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
