Job OverviewThe Allied Trade Specialist is responsible for supervising and performing the fabrication, repair and modification of metallic and nonmetallic parts.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate, repair, and modify metallic and nonmetallic parts
- Operate various machines such as lathes, drill presses, grinders and other machine shop equipment
Job training requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instructions.
Skill Requirements- Mastery of machine types, setup, and operation
- Proficiency in working with different metals
- Knowledge of safety procedures
