Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lake District Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and performing activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' abilities and goals, and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including physical and cognitive evaluations, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote patient engagement, motivation, and participation in therapy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Oregon.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, with a focus on physical disability and rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a schedule of 4, 10-hour shifts per week, from Friday to Monday.
