Job Title: LPN/MA - Dermatology

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team at Maui Medical Group. This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday, 7:30am-6:30pm.

Job Summary:

The LPN/MA will provide high-quality patient care and support to our dermatology team. This includes performing general nursing duties, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures and treatments as directed by the provider.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general nursing duties, including escorting patients, taking vital signs, and observing symptoms.
  • Prepare patient records, maintain accurate records of medications and treatments, and complete necessary requisitions.
  • Direct and supervise other healthcare personnel in the clinic, including delegation of duties to other clinical staff.
  • Screen phone calls to the provider, relay instructions or advice to patients, and perform patient teaching and/or nursing checks.
  • Assist in other offices as directed, perform other tasks and duties as assigned, and maintain sanitary conditions in the office.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and licensure as a LPN in the State of Hawaii required.
  • Active/unexpired CPR/BLS Card required.
  • Ability to manage several tasks at the same time, work overtime as needed, and update education on own as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates effective communication and telephone skills.
  • Computer literacy preferred.
Working Conditions:

This position requires walking (85%), sitting (15%), and lifting 25 lbs. with occasional heavier loads.

Compensation:

LPN starting at $26.06 / MA starting at $23.72; based on experience.
