Job Summary

This is a full-time Class A Truck Driver position that requires regular travel to various assigned yards to start routes. The driver will be responsible for delivering meat, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. The position involves frequent stops during a work shift, as well as working in inclement weather conditions.

The successful candidate will be able to perform repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, verify delivery of items with customers, collect money (cash or checks) where needed, and maintain a clean and safe driving record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver best-in-class customer service by meeting scheduled delivery times and maintaining productivity.
  • Unload products using a hand truck and place items in customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and collect payment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
  • Minimum six months of commercial driving experience or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.
