We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in the Level 2 NICU at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to NICU and newborn patients, including evaluation, treatment planning, and medication management.
- Collaborate with neonatologists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Perform procedures such as intubation, lumbar puncture, and chest tube placement.
- Communicate effectively with parents, other specialists, and NICU team members.
- Provide education and support to patients' families.
- Master's degree in Nursing with Neonatal Certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in the NICU as an RN (highly preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in the NICU as a Neonatal APRN (preferred but not required).
- Valid Florida APRN License with Neonatal certification.
- Certification through ANCC or other nationally recognized certifying body.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
The City of Melbourne is located in southern Brevard County, southeast of Orlando on Florida's east coast. It sits astride the Indian River Lagoon, with a large portion of the City located on Florida's mainland, and a portion located on a barrier island.
