About the Job

We are seeking a highly qualified Geology Professor to join our faculty at Lone Star College. As an Adjunct Professor, you will teach geology courses at various times and locations. You will create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material. Your primary responsibilities include planning, developing, and teaching courses within the curriculum in a manner that facilitates student learning.

Responsibilities
  • Teach geology courses at a variety of times and locations.
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
  • Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
  • Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines.

Requirements
  1. Mastery of course content.
  2. Demonstrated leadership skills; style that emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and facilitation.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $53.82 per contact hour.
