Position Overview

SAIC, a prominent provider of systems development and deployment, intelligence analysis, systems engineering, and training solutions for the Intelligence Community (IC), is on the lookout for innovative and committed professionals to achieve their career aspirations while ensuring mission success on critical national programs.

The National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, within the USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is in search of a Quality Assurance Analyst for Software Applications. This role involves collaborating with an integrated team to design, update, and sustain a federated search and discovery software system that consolidates financial data from various sources. The applications will operate within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Development environment, with user requirements and application features being implemented iteratively in line with the Agile Scrum methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and managing an automated testing environment in AWS utilizing tools such as Selenium or equivalent testing frameworks.
  • Conducting tests on developed features and enhancements for web applications, APIs, and web services.
  • Employing a tracking system to monitor all tasks and user stories effectively.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Information Management Systems, or a related field. Note that relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in the following areas:
  • Participating in an Agile Scrum team environment.
  • Working within a cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
  • Utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Conducting requirements analysis.
  • Creating and maintaining an automated testing environment using technologies such as Selenium, Junit, and Mockito.
  • Testing APIs and applications.
  • Employing scripting languages such as Java and JavaScript.
  • Utilizing team collaboration tools like Confluence or similar platforms.
  • Using issue tracking systems such as Jira (preferred) or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise with testing tools such as Selenium.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise software development initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications, including:
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
  • Certified Financial Crimes Specialist (CFCS).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
  • Six Sigma Certification.
