Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, educating them on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Comfort working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility to float to various clinics within the territory as needed
