About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Service Representative to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As the face of our hospital, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to clients, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and guiding clients to exam rooms.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, as well as place outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients.
  • Present and explain fees, including processing payments, and recommend products and services to clients.
  • Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence, and maintain a clean and organized hospital environment.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and be available to work on Saturdays.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software and systems.
