We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist to join our team at Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces, a Benevis company. As a key member of our dental care team, you will provide high-level anesthesia care to pediatric patients during office-based surgery days.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children. As a Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist, you will work closely with our pediatric dentists to ensure the delivery of exceptional dental care to young patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments.
  • Collaborate with pediatric dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
  • Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety or physical disabilities.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
  • Licensure and Certifications: Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing, along with required certifications like PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
