Substitute Nurse Opportunity

Kountze ISD is seeking a qualified Substitute Nurse to join our team on an as-needed basis.

Requirements
  • Current LVN license
  • Current CPR card (BLS)
  • Fingerprinting through the Texas DPS (cost approximately $49.00)

Substitutes who have previously been fingerprinted through a Texas school district do not need to repeat the process.

Compensation

The daily rate for this position is $80.00/day for non-degreed individuals and $90.00/day for those with a Bachelor's Degree (official transcripts required).

  • Valid TX Driver's license
  • Social Security Card (name on Driver's license and Social Security Card must match)
  • Voided Check/deposit slip or Direct Deposit Letter from Bank/Credit Union (Kountze ISD is direct deposit only)

This is a substitute position and does not constitute an offer of full-time employment.
