About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac team at Mercy. As a Cardiac Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including post-operative CABG and open-heart patients, TAVRs, and other post-cath-lab intervention patients.
  • Monitor and manage patients' medications, including titrating down to wean from vasoactive drips.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take proactive measures to prevent adverse outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support Certification through an American Heart Association approved program.
  • At least one year of previous experience in clinical nursing preferred.
