Petroleum Inspector

We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Inspector to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of bulk liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon or chemical cargo.

• Perform testing and sampling of cargo to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct gauging and reconciliation of transfer operations to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
• Collaborate with clients, vessel personnel, and shore facility personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using SGS proprietary systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, policies, and procedures.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 2 years of industry experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and TWIC card required.
• International Federation of Inspection Agencies (IFIA) Certification preferred.

This role requires frequent standing, moving, and use of hands. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
