As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of respiratory care services.

**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist who can work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive respiratory care services. Your responsibilities will include administering respiratory care treatments, procedures, and protocols under the direct supervision of department leadership and physician. You will also assess patient cardiopulmonary status, implement patient care protocols, and remove supplemental oxygen/medical gas therapy as prescribed or via established department protocols. In addition, you will implement airway clearance techniques, initiate and maintain non-invasive ventilation procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**
An Associate's degree from an approved & accredited Respiratory Care Program is required. An active certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care and a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the State of Illinois or eligibility to obtain said license prior to start are also required. A Bachelor's degree or higher from an approved & accredited Respiratory Care Program is preferred. Per Diem, Registry (0.2 FTE) and Day Shift - 12-hours 'Requirement: four 12hr shifts per six week schedule' are the job type and shift details.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
