We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment and applying your knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Apply knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes to ensure accurate and efficient image acquisition and processing
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology
  • New York State Radiologic Technologist license from the Department of Health
  • CT certification
  • Prior experience in a hospital environment
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Preferred Criteria:
  • License to inject contrast
