Job Description

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

The Senior Real Estate Development Director is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of affordable housing projects. This includes identifying new construction opportunities, working with contractors to deliver units on time and within budget, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in affordable housing development, including direct roles in the acquisition, design, and financial structuring of multi-family housing. Key skills and qualifications include strong communication and organizational skills, knowledge of LIHTC and HUD regulations, and experience working with general contractors. A bachelor's degree in a related field and a valid driver's license are also required. Experience working on multiple projects and partners at the same time and seeing projects through from start to finish is highly valued. Additionally, the ability to host and attend meetings in person and virtually and work collaboratively is essential.
