Job Summary

This position is responsible for delivering instruction for fast-track cross-credit healthcare classes at Lee College. The successful candidate will provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain industry employment and related industry recognized credentials.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Preparing course materials, including studying and customizing existing instructor guides and developing curriculum as needed.
  • Utilizing effective adult learning techniques to accomplish stated learning objectives for a variety of learning styles.
  • Staying current in area(s) of expertise related to continuing education assignments.
  • Performing other job-related duties as required or needed.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Expertise as a Phlebotomy Technician, including required certifications, licenses, and/or designated work experiences.
  • Experience helping adults learn in a classroom/training room setting.
