We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an L&D Travel Nurse, you will provide care and support for women before, during, and after delivery of a baby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients throughout labor and provide emotional support
  • Assist physicians with epidurals, pain medications, and other medical procedures
  • Perform tasks such as checking the cervix, monitoring contractions, and providing breathing techniques
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and newborns
  • Aid physicians with delivery instruments and provide immediate care to newborns

Requirements:

  • 3 years of recent acute care experience
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift 20 pounds, and cope with stress
