Job Overview

Cole Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Water Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. As a critical member of our engineering team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing water infrastructure projects that meet the needs of rural and underprivileged communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, analyze, evaluate, design, and coordinate water supply, municipal water treatment, conveyance, and storage projects.
  • Lead the predesign process with clients, including the development of preliminary engineering reports.
  • Communicate with small communities to obtain data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Conduct public speaking engagements at Town Board meetings to convey project findings.
  • Analyze pipe hydraulics, pump system design, equipment selection, and alternative evaluations on various projects.
  • Provide construction support services, including the review of shop drawings and response to requests for information.
Requirements
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • 3-7 years of experience in civil engineering or environmental engineering, with water treatment and conveyance experience preferred.
  • EIT certification and Licensed as a Professional Engineer, or eligible to be licensed in the state of Colorado through application by reciprocity or by exam within one year.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with focused experience in Civil 3D and/or Plant 3D.
