Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, plus rotating Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens submitted to the laboratory for the identification of potential malignant or abnormal conditions.
- Conduct screening of all liquid-based cytology, both manual and imaged, alongside conventional slides.
- Perform microscopic evaluations of cytological specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols and workload policies.
- Ensure accurate documentation of workload, including both screening and non-screening activities as mandated by CLIA and laboratory standards.
- Uphold the highest integrity in the precise execution and reporting of results.
- Meet slide screening benchmarks as outlined in standard operating procedures.
- Accurately finalize testing results in the laboratory information system in a timely manner.
- Provide support for cytology processing and additional tasks as required.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.

The compensation range for this position is between $40.00 and $60.20 per hour.

All employment offers will be contingent upon a candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and applicable certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of an accredited Cytology program.
- ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in Cytology is preferred.
- ThinPrep certification is advantageous.
- Must successfully meet slide screening criteria and annual CAP proficiency assessments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cytological preparation techniques.
- Experience with both automated and non-automated testing is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) is essential.
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Must pass a standardized color vision assessment.
