About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Expert to lead our team in ensuring the security of our clients' information systems. As an Information Security Consultant Senior, you will be responsible for providing strategic and technical guidance on cybersecurity matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Cybersecurity Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect against emerging threats.
  • Cybersecurity Operations: Manage and oversee the implementation of cybersecurity controls, including risk management frameworks, to ensure the security of our clients' systems.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, SMEs, and stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on cybersecurity matters.
  • Training & Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members on cybersecurity best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Staying Current: Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies, including cloud, network, and endpoint security, as well as emerging threats and trends.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of Cyber Assurance experience.
  • Knowledge of IT security controls, firewalls, SIEM platforms, NAC, DLP, IPS/IDS, encryption, authentication.
  • Hands-on experience with Risk Management Framework Assessment and Authorization cybersecurity package management tools such as the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) or Telos' Xacta IA Manager.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment using persuasion, expertise, and judgment to affect change.
  • Must have working knowledge of DOD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAM level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CISSP certification preferred.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies: VMWare, Citrix, and Microsoft.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, Software Defined Data Center, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Integration desired.
  • Knowledge with network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure.
  • Experience with firewalls and firewall rule sets.
