About the Role:

The Pharmacist will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmacy services to patients, physicians, and co-workers. This includes reviewing patient profiles, ensuring prescription directions are accurate, and performing other duties related to pharmacist services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support services to support a full range of pharmacy operations, including reviewing patient profiles and ensuring prescription directions are appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and nurses to provide care to patients, including drug therapy monitoring, provision of drug information, and drug distribution activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong IV, TPN, and compounding skills, and demonstrate a winning attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • A registered pharmacist from an accredited college of Pharmacy with a current Delaware license.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy practice is preferred.
  • Good communication skills, Pharmacy Residency, and PharmD are desirable.
  • Strong human relations skills and basic computer skills are required.
  • Candidates with chemotherapy and anticoagulation skills are preferred.
