Job Title: Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and providing direct therapy services to students.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities
  • Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active Michigan SLP licensure
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
