As a Family Advocate, you will play a critical role in building strong relationships with community members, providing support and resources, and co-creating offerings and activities that promote individual, family, and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Community Engagement: Engage with community members, build trust, and provide support and resources to meet their needs.
- Offerings and Activities: Co-create and lead offerings and activities that promote community well-being, such as community cafes, workshops, and events.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including local organizations, businesses, and government agencies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports of community engagement, offerings, and activities.
- Education: Associate's degree in social work, public policy, education, public administration, or related field.
- Language: Bilingual (Spanish/Creole/French/English).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in community outreach, engagement, and support.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience with community outreach and engagement.
