Highly Skilled CNC Machinist for Complex Parts Production

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at ALIGN PRECISION. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with complex machined parts and contribute to the production of high-quality products.
Job OverviewThis is a full-time position that requires setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines, maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping records of equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in setting up CNC machine tools, including 4 and 5 axis capability, and be able to edit and write CNC machine programs.
Responsibilities- Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications, tooling instructions, and sequence of operations.
- Select and secure tools in toolholders, adjusting heights and tool comps as needed to maintain quality output.
- Inspect products during machining to ensure conformance to specifications, following established inspection methods.
- Moves controls to position tools and workpieces, sets feeds, speeds, and depth of cut, and verifies operation of machines.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and reporting need for repairs.
- Set up and operate machines and equipment other than machine tools, such as welding machines and flame-cutting equipment.
The salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required; 5-10 years of experience in CNC machining preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, including GD&T tolerancing with profile tolerancing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
