Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished scholar and educator to fill a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Wilkes University. As a key member of our academic community, you will contribute to the development of our students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging teaching and mentorship.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory philosophy courses, including applied ethics, as well as upper-level courses serving philosophy majors. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the University's new Africana Studies minor program.

  • A Ph.D. in philosophy by the time of appointment is required.
