We are looking for an Engineering Controls Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with a prominent automation firm. This position necessitates a degree in Electrical Engineering, extensive PLC programming skills, and considerable experience in leadership and project oversight within the automation sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct a team of Electrical Controls Engineers, offering mentorship and support.
- Guide and develop Controls Engineers to enhance their professional skills and capabilities.
- Source necessary components for projects to guarantee effective implementation.
- Address intricate challenges associated with process and control systems.
- Manage projects from conception to installation, ensuring compliance with timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Work closely with Machine Designers and Project Managers to ensure project precision and fulfill expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience in an engineering context.
- At least 5 years of practical PLC programming experience, with expertise in Allen Bradley RSLogix5000 and Siemens S7 Controls.
- Strong ability to lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers.
- Excellent project management capabilities, with a history of successful project completions.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary between $125,000 and $135,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, medical, dental, and life insurance.
- Performance-based bonuses and additional incentives.
