Optical Dispensary Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Vision Associates team member. As a key member of our optical dispensary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient experiences through the selection, measurement, ordering, and fitting of eyewear.

• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing a voice for peers and supporting the establishment of the practice as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.
• Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear correctly, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and patient requirements.
• Explore patient needs and priorities by asking open-ended questions and anticipating problems to develop long-term solutions.
• Operate the point-of-sale system, inputting patient information with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Commit to delivery dates and times, seek feedback, and ask for referrals.
• Take ownership to achieve exceptional results on individual and team goals.
• Present, celebrate, and educate patients at the time of dispense.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized dispensary appearance and secure company assets within control.
• Effectively collaborate with doctors and practice staff to ensure high-level partnership for patient care.
• Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and team building.
• Basic math skills and sales skills.
• Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale and patient record systems.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
