LDAR Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled LDAR Technician to join our team at the Valero Refinery Site in Corpus Christi, TX. As an LDAR Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring components on an assigned route within an industrial facility using an analyzer and electronic data recorder. Your duties will include calibrating equipment to ensure optimum performance, identifying leaks, and processing leak tags. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as maintaining good customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze industrial equipment to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Identify and report any malfunctions or abnormalities in equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Process and track leak tags to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve safety and environmental goals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) waste codes preferred.
  • Confined space entry and 40 Hour OSHA Training preferred.
  • Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail required.
