Job Summary:

The GI APRN Specialist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, and collaborating with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in Missouri
  • Graduation and certification from a Nurse Practitioner program
  • Certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice
  • Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider
  • Current BCLS verification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years clinical experience in GI
  • Advanced education in the diagnosis and management of patients with gastrointestinal diseases
