**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wildland Firefighter to join our team at Wildfire Defense Systems, Inc. as a Firefighter I - Wildland Fire Specialist. This is a seasonal position that requires a strong commitment to safety and a passion for wildland firefighting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a small group of firefighters in wildland and dedicated service operations
- Supervise resources at the Firefighter Type 2 level and report to a Single Resource Boss or other assigned supervisor
- Work in the Operations Section and ensure the safety of team members
- Participate in training and certification programs to maintain and advance NWCG qualifications
- Complete task books and demonstrate proficiency in wildland firefighting skills
