Pharmacy Leadership Position

The Pharmacy Manager role at CVS Health involves leading a team of pharmacy staff members, comprising pharmacists and technicians. The position requires a strong emphasis on patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the operation of the pharmacy, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead and direct the pharmacy team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Develop and implement patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve performance, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Analyze business opportunities and implement meaningful solutions to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
Requirements
- Active pharmacy license in the state where employed.
- Immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- Listing on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge.'
- Submission of required information/documents to the state PMP administrator for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use).
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
- Proven leadership and management experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to drive growth and improvement.
