Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and oversee the operation of the pharmacy, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead and direct the pharmacy team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Develop and implement patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve performance, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Analyze business opportunities and implement meaningful solutions to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.


Requirements


  • Active pharmacy license in the state where employed.
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Listing on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge.'
  • Submission of required information/documents to the state PMP administrator for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use).
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to drive growth and improvement.
