Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in Gaithersburg, MD.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate psychiatrist to provide outpatient services for children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating and treating medical and psychosocial conditions, as well as developing and implementing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients by conducting physical examinations, observing behaviors, and reviewing medical history.
  • Develop treatment plans by determining the nature and extent of cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, including service plans, progress notes, and medication informed consent.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality and safe service for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Doctorate-of-Medicine with a Residency in Psychiatry.
  • Current State of Maryland Physician License or Registered Nurse License (RN, CRNP-PM).
  • Board certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Valid DEA and CDS Certification.
