UPMC Home Health is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide professional physical therapy services in the home and community setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to ongoing continuing education. Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and treating patients in an effective Physical Therapy Program, identifying and participating in process improvement opportunities, and assigning and supervising Certified Physical Therapy Assistants. The Physical Therapist will also advise and consult with families, inter-intradisciplinary team members, physicians, and other professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Requirements include a graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, licensure, and certifications such as CPR and Basic Life Support. The Physical Therapist will work Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm, and will be responsible for maintaining and completing all required documentation and orders in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have one year of Physical Therapy experience and be able to work effectively in a team environment. UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran.
