Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
