We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing advanced treatment and comprehensive care to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
- Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
- Design functional treatment programs to facilitate an effective return to community activities.
- Provide education to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
- Perform other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience.
- Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment.
