We are seeking a skilled Installer and Service Technician to join our team at BE Equipment Inc. This role involves the installation and maintenance of recycling machinery, including balers, shredders, conveyor systems, and compactors.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Traveling to various job sites for equipment installation and servicing.
- Generating daily service reports to document work performed.
- Collaborating with team members while also being able to work independently.
Some overnight travel is expected, averaging 3-4 nights per month.
Essential Skills and QualificationsApplicants should possess:
- Proficient experience operating forklifts.
- Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Basic welding capabilities.
- The ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record; a CDL Class B or higher is mandatory.
This is a full-time position offering:
- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Health insurance coverage.
- Paid time off.
The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday.
Experience RequirementsA minimum of 1 year of experience in rigging is required.
Work LocationThis position requires in-person work, and candidates must reside within a 20-mile radius of the service area.
CompensationThe salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $70,000, commensurate with experience.
