Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Polysomnographic Technician to join our team at OhioHealth. As a key member of our Sleep Lab, you will be responsible for preparing patients for sleep disorder testing and collecting data pertinent to the interpretation of test results.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and prepare patients for Polysomnogram or Multiple Sleep Latency Test in accordance with American Sleep Disorder Association guidelines.
  • Explain procedures, perform routine and sometimes difficult recordings in lab, and recognize non-routine and/or critical situations.
  • Maintain RPSGT and BLS certifications, and adhere to OSHA regulations.
  • Score polysomnograms, calibrate equipment, and complete test logging, billing, and statistics in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement efforts, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
  • High School or GED required.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association certification required.
  • Registry obtained from Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) required.
