The DHA is on a mission to implement the largest global electronic health record system across the entire Department of Defense (DoD) community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall health of the project by tracking and managing assigned product activities, which encompass design, development, testing, integration, implementation, and ongoing support.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and participate in meetings, ensuring that meeting summaries and action items are documented.
  • Execute a wide range of supportive administrative tasks to assist both clients and team members.
  • Act as the primary interface and advocate for customers, ensuring effective cross-functional technical and relationship management.
  • Collect and document requirements, leveraging expertise to foresee and address potential design issues.
  • Demonstrate experience working within Agile teams and utilizing Agile methodologies in development.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of end-to-end data processes and concepts to implement frameworks, processes, controls, models, and solutions that ensure effective data management across the organization.
  • Provide support for MHS GENESIS and legacy systems in areas such as data workflow, data structures, system interoperability, and data interchange.
  • Create Entity Relationship Diagrams and review vendor-provided Interface Control Documentation (ICD).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Active Public Trust clearance is required.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance is preferred.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is mandatory.
  • Recent experience with system interoperability and data analysis for Cerner Millennium.
  • Familiarity with HL7 standards.
  • Strong consulting and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across fast-paced and dynamic teams and at various leadership levels.
  • Solid understanding of Joint Health Service Support or Defense Health Agency processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present effectively to senior government officials.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively and proactively with customers and program office members in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Experience in customer service and relationship management.
  • Willingness to take on various ad hoc roles, including contributing to proposal efforts and participating in hiring processes.
