We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our multidisciplinary team. As a CNA at Avera, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in care working alongside nurses and other professionals who are passionate about creating a positive impact.

Job Summary:

  • Transport residents, bathe and dress, comb hair, clean teeth and care for nails.
  • Make beds, feed residents and perform other duties as assigned.
  • May take and record temperature, pulse, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
  • Keep record of resident's food intake and output.
  • Answer call lights and deliver messages.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality patient care while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  3. Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families.

Requirements:

  • CNA certificate within 4 months of hire.
  • Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
  • Speak and understand English.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Nurse assistant experience helpful.
  • Training is provided.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $18.25 - $24.00 per hour.

Work Schedule:
