Ultrasound Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team at LewisGale Physicians Blacksburg Women's Health Specialists. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and document patient information, including developing film and making hard copy images.
  • Ensure department records, reports, and files are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of any issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
  • Certification in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations.
