POSITION SUMMARY:

The role involves the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of robust and secure cloud environments, facilitating development teams to efficiently deliver features.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and manage cloud environments utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies.
  • Oversee the continuous development and automation of build, integration, and deployment infrastructures across various environments, including the creation and execution of scripts.
  • Enhance observability and resilience across multi-cloud landing zones and various environments such as Development, Testing, and Production.
  • Assist in the implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Continuously evaluate, onboard, and facilitate new FedRAMP cloud services, adhering to security best practices for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and networking.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated expertise in cloud environments with knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory).
  • Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) including Azure, AWS, or OCI.
  • Containerization and management with Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Scripting with PowerShell or Bash.
  • Security automation utilizing tools like Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
  • Cybersecurity tools such as Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, and STIG scanner.
  • Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Version control systems, including Git, and branching strategies like GitFlow or GitHub Flow.
  • Best practices and architectures for cloud high availability and scalability.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.

Certifications in Azure, AWS, and GCP are preferred.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Client management skills to discuss systems as necessary.

5-7 years of relevant experience is essential.
