We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team at JAX Mercantile Co. in Laporte, CO. As a critical partner to business decisions, you will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, and analyzing large data sets to provide insights that inform business decisions company-wide and at individual locations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze sales, inventory, and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in forecasting sales and inventory needs based on historical data and market trends.
- Provide insights on customer behavior and preferences to inform marketing and sales strategies.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by conducting regular audits and clean-ups.
- Work closely with various operations teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within the retail industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to produce reporting dashboards.
- Experience with retail management systems (RMS), retail point of sale (POS) software, and customer relationship management (CRM) software preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
