We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Cura LLC as a Sous Chef. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality food products in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our customers.
- Food Production: Supervise and participate in the daily preparation of standard and gourmet food items, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory controls for food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train culinary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Culinary Experience: 3-5 years of experience in institutional, hotel, or restaurant culinary management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating culinary teams to achieve high-quality results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in institutional management, nutrition, dietetics, or hotel and restaurant management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
