Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and manage both public and private cloud infrastructures.
  • Leverage over 10 years of experience in Cloud Computing, Build and Release, DevOps, and Linux Administration.
  • Utilize GIT for synchronization with the chef-repo, managing it as a source code repository.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on system architectures.
  • Employ version control tools such as Subversion and Git, including branching and merging strategies.
  • Analyze system specifications and translate requirements into technical strategies for architecting on-premises infrastructure.
  • Oversee the development of DevOps work streams to address information processing challenges.
  • Implement and manage Atlassian tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Jira Service Desk.
  • Train end users on software applications.
  • Offer recommendations for system and process enhancements.
  • Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and TDD.
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences would be advantageous:

  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in time management and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively to solve technical challenges.
  • Experience with SCRUM and iteration methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in transitioning outdated technologies to modern solutions.
