Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

Aureus Medical Group - Nursing is seeking a highly skilled travel nurse RN Infection Control specialist to join their team in San Antonio, Texas. As a travel nurse with Aureus, you will have the opportunity to work on a 11-week assignment with 36 hours per week, spread across 12-hour night shifts.
Estimated Salary:The estimated weekly salary for this position is between $2083 and $2155, which translates to an hourly rate of $16-$18, assuming a 12-hour shift. Additionally, you can expect a non-taxable stipend of around $1507 per week.
About the Job:This role involves monitoring and performing infection surveillance, prevention, control, and reporting activities for assigned hospital facilities and outpatient services. You will be responsible for data collection, interpretation, evaluation, and problem identification, as well as coordinating analysis and implementing corrective action. This includes serving as a primary resource person for patient care and related support areas to assist with evaluating and resolving issues related to infection control and prevention.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- College-level course or CEU-approved program in Microbiology
- Minimum of three years experience in a healthcare setting
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
- Board certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) preferred
