General Foreman

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Concrete Finisher General Foreman to join our team.

The Concrete Finisher General Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the work of concrete finishers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand job specifications.

1. Conduct safe work observations and provide feedback to employees to promote a culture of safety.
2. Provide guidance and direction to foremen and crews to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, understand job specifications, and implement Bechtel's job procedures and work rules.
4. Understand project priorities and schedules, and assign work plans to ensure timely completion.
5. Identify and resolve problems that may impact project schedules or budgets.
6. Coordinate with other disciplines to prevent scheduling conflicts.
7. Ensure that work is completed to a high standard of quality.
8. Submit accurate reports on time sheets, backcharges, quantity, and work status.
9. Administer praise and discipline consistently and fairly.
10. Participate in the exchange of ideas with other team members.

The ideal candidate will have 8 years of industrial construction experience, with 4 years in supervisory roles. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand job specifications.
